Tamal Roy

Tamal Roy is an experienced Information Systems Developer currently working with the Union Applications Team at IUCN since September 2022, focusing on the maintenance and development of web applications for stakeholder engagement. Previously, Tamal served as a Software Programmer at UPS Bangladesh from May 2019 to August 2022, developing customized applications and providing ERP support. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at b-cause Bangladesh, where Tamal worked on an API-based ERP application, and a position as an Assistant Software Engineer with the Local Government Engineering Department, contributing to the RERMP2 online application and training senior engineers. Tamal's early career began as a Junior Web Developer at SynTech Web House, collaborating with designers and managing client communications on website projects. Tamal holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the American International University-Bangladesh, completed in 2016.
