Scott Duhamel

Scott Duhamel has extensive experience in labor relations and community service, currently serving as the Assistant to the General President and Eastern Region Political Director for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades since August 1986. Duhamel holds multiple positions including Board Member for the RI State Labor Relations Board, Secretary Treasurer for the Rhode Island Building Trades and Construction Council, and roles on the Executive Boards of both RI AFL-CIO and Build RI. Additionally, Duhamel has contributed to various organizations such as Building Futures and the RI State Council of the Arts, and previously served as Fundraising Chair for RI Jobs With Justice and Film Columnist for Providence Monthly. Educationally, Duhamel earned a BA in Film Study from Rhode Island College and graduated from East Providence High School.
