Deena Pierott is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership, equity, and diversity initiatives. As the Chief Executive Officer of iUrban Teen since October 2011, Deena has been instrumental in providing STEM+C+A education to historically excluded youth. In addition, as President & CEO of Mosaic Metier, Deena leads efforts in recruiting and diversity events. Deena is a founding member of Black Women in STEM 2.0, advocating for equitable workplace environments. Previous roles include serving as a Strategic Advisor for Equity and Inclusion with the City of Seattle and a Commissioner for the Washington State Commission on African American Affairs. Deena's experience also encompasses administrative management in various organizations, including the City of Portland and the Urban League of Portland. Deena holds an Associate's degree in Healthcare from Technical Health Institute.
