Alexandre Nguyen

Alexandre Nguyen is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, currently serving as a Special Advisor at IVADO since November 2020 and as a Co-founder of Cultivar AI since June 2019. With a background as an Instructor at Fin-ML and a former Director of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, Nguyen has extensive experience in research and practical applications of deep learning, gained during tenure at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute. Previous roles include Advisor in Risk Management at Desjardins, where expertise was applied to counterparty and market risk, and various positions in investment research and algorithmic trading. Nguyen holds two master's degrees, one in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Université de Montréal and another in Financial Economics from HEC Montréal.
