Ariel Xue

Ariel Xue is a proficient legal scholar currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Law at Université de Montréal. With a strong background in research and policy analysis, Ariel contributes to the R3AI project as a Research Assistant at IVADO and works with the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health as a Policy Analyst focusing on regulatory and ethics frameworks. Previous experiences include assisting at the Centre of Genomics and Policy and Tsinghua University, where Ariel held the role of Group Leader at the Institute for Studies on Artificial Intelligence and Law. An extensive career in various legal and financial settings includes positions at BNP Paribas, GoPro, Daton Securities, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Shanghai Minhang District People’s Court. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws in Comparative Common Law and a Bachelor of Laws, both supplemented by practical experience in law and finance.
