Guillaume Chicoisne

Director Of Research Support (acting)

Guillaume Chicoisne is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research support and scientific program management. Serving as the Director of Research Support and Scientific Advisor at IVADO since January 2017, Guillaume provides valuable assistance in academia and research with a focus on intersectorial projects and scientific communication. Additionally, Guillaume acts as the Director of Scientific Programs, overseeing significant funding initiatives and training programs while addressing social and ethical impacts of AI. Guillaume is also a member of the Ethics in Science and Technology Commission for the Québec government. Previous roles include union stewardship at SEUQAM, coordination at the Cognitive Science Institute, and research positions within academic and research organizations. Currently, Guillaume is pursuing a Master's degree in Environment and Sustainable Development at Université de Montréal, having already earned advanced degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science.
