Nivedha Chokkalingam has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2021, they worked as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Cognizant, where they received training in Java, SQL, JDBC, and Amazon Web services. Nivedha collaborated with a team to develop a user-friendly Ticketing Management System using Java and participated in replacing the existing data pipeline architecture with AWS services.
In 2022, Nivedha joined OmMuse as a Full Stack Developer. Nivedha worked with a team to build the front-end part of an early-stage startup application using ReactJS, Material UI, and Golang. Nivedha also played a significant role in designing the application flow using Lucidchart and improving the UI design with Figma.
Additionally, Nivedha worked at the New York Institute of Technology in 2021. Nivedha served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, mentoring undergraduate students in managing their course load and providing tutoring services on Data Structures, OOPS, and Operating Systems. Nivedha also offered counseling services for course selection. During the summer, they worked as a Summer Associate, coaching high school students on Python Programming, FPGA, 3-D printing, and helping them build a dynamic vehicle with self-driving capabilities.
Currently, Nivedha is working at Ivalua as an Associate Customer Application Engineer. Prior to this role, they held the position of Customer Application Engineer at the same company.
Nivedha Chokkalingam completed their Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering at SRM University from 2017 to 2021. Nivedha then pursued further education and is currently studying for a Master's degree in Computer Science at the New York Institute of Technology, which will be completed from 2021 to 2023. Alongside their academic studies, Nivedha also obtained additional certifications in Intermediate Machine Learning from Kaggle in April 2022, and in Machine Learning A-Z™: Hands-On Python & R In Data Science from Udemy in April 2022.
