Adriano Mantesso

Managing Director, Latin America at Ivanhoé Cambridge

As head of the Latin America team, Adriano Mantesso is responsible for investing in local real estate, developing asset management strategies and overseeing the formation of strategic partnerships for the region.

Mr. Mantesso has extensive industry experience, particularly in the management of property funds in Brazil and elsewhere in South America. Before joining Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2017 as Vice-President, Brazil, he worked for five years at the investment bank BTG Pactual where he became a partner and head of the income properties (real estate) division, his role of managing what was then the largest real estate investment trust. He was also a member of the bank's real estate investment committee, responsible for evaluating development projects for shopping centres, offices and residential properties. From 2005 to 2012, he worked for Brazilian Capital where he managed private and public real estate investment funds. Since joining Arthur Andersen in 1998,

Mr. Mantesso holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mauá Business School in Brazil. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
