Annik Desmarteau is Vice-President, Offices, Quebec. In this capacity, she is responsible for the operating activities of approximately 4 Msq. ft . of office space for the Ivanhoé Cambridge portfolio in Quebec, including Place Ville Marie, Édifice Jacques-Parizeau and Édifice Price. An important part of his mandate is to establish and maintain good relationships with customers as well as to promote positive experiences within the buildings in order to ensure tenant retention.
Working in commercial real estate management for more than 25 years, Ms. Desmarteau has extensive expertise in the Montreal market. Employed by Ivanhoé Cambridge since 1996, she held various positions within the company until becoming Vice-President, Offices, Quebec, in 2019. Among her recent achievements, she has worked closely with Cathcart Restaurants and Biergarten, which is part of the Place Ville Marie revitalization project, the main pillar of Projet Nouveau Centre, an investment of more than $1 billion by Ivanhoé Cambridge to renew the experience of Montrealers in downtown Montreal. This mandate led her to lead initiatives whose objective was to find and implement innovative solutions in all Montreal properties,
Ms. Desmarteau holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Public Relations from the University of Laval and a minor in Human Resources from the University of Quebec in Montreal, with a specialization in communications.
An active member of the industry and involved in the BOMA Québec organization for several years, Ms. Desmarteau became its president in May 2020 and also holds the position of president of the board of the Energy Challenge in real estate.
