Josée Girard is responsible for all activities related to human resources management at Ivanhoé Cambridge. Among other things, it establishes a strategic framework for the acquisition and management of talent and succession plans, performance management and total compensation, the development of required skills and expertise as well as corporate culture. To this end, it oversees changes and organizational alignment for the execution of the IC 2022 strategic plan (anticipate, innovate, perform) in connection with the company's values, diversity and inclusion, the mobilization of employees and innovation.
Ms. Girard has been part of the Ivanhoé Cambridge management team since August 2019. She has more than 25 years of experience mainly in the field of human resources, but has also assumed various roles in operations, research and development. , as well as health, safety and the environment.
Before joining the ranks of Ivanhoé Cambridge, she held the position of Vice-President, Human Resources, for the Aluminum division of Rio Tinto, where she acquired solid global experience. In addition, in 2015-2016, she was also Vice-President, People and Culture at CBC/Radio-Canada.
