Tadeu Carneiro

Tadeu Carneiro is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and innovation across multiple sectors, particularly in steel and mining industries. Currently serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Boston Metal since May 2017, Tadeu oversees the development of a revolutionary coal-free, emissions-free method of steel production. Additionally, Tadeu holds the position of Lead Independent Director at Ivanhoe Mines and has contributed to academia as an Invited Lecturer at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Tufts University. Tadeu's earlier roles include a decade-long tenure as Chief Executive Officer at CBMM, the world's leading supplier of niobium products, and board memberships at renowned institutions like Hospital Sírio-Libanês and Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas. Tadeu holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and multiple degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP.
