Ian Carlson

Ian Carlson has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Ian started their career at Novellus Systems as a Field Service Engineer in 2006 and then moved on to ZTEC Instruments as an Electronic Hardware Engineer in 2008. In 2012, they joined Stolar Research as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed multi-threaded C++ applications. Ian utilized different communication protocols and data formats, and also worked on porting applications to Windows and Linux. In 2015, they joined RiskSense, Inc. and held various roles, including Tech, Personnel, Frontend Lead and Lead Front End Web Engineer. Their responsibilities included translating mockups into JIRA stories, peer reviewing and merging code, and organizing sprint goals and meetings. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Ivanti as a Director of Engineering.

From 2000 to 2005, Ian Carlson attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Ian obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering during this time. No specific field of study has been provided.
