Jamie Laliberte Whalen

Jamie Laliberte Whalen has extensive experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, and content creation. In 2011, Jamie started working at Staples as a Content Marketing Specialist, where they created impactful content to enhance brand awareness. They also managed editorial needs for the Staples.com Business Hub. In 2013, Jamie became the Manager of Global Content Marketing at Lionbridge, where they established the first-ever content hub on Lionbridge.com and developed a content strategy. Following this, Jamie joined Applause in 2015 as a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing, responsible for social media, content strategy, and email campaign creation. In 2016, they moved on to Mimecast as the Senior Manager of Digital Content and Social Media, overseeing global content and social strategy, implementation, and distribution. At Mechanica and Brand Content in 2018, Jamie worked as a Senior Social and Content Strategist and a Senior Social Media Strategist, respectively. In 2019, at Autodesk, Jamie focused on social media and digital strategy. Jamie briefly worked at Ogilvy as a Social Strategy Lead from August to November 2021 before joining Ivanti as the Director of Social Strategy in November 2021. Additionally, Jamie has been the Owner, Author, and Designer at Liberty Whale Press since 2012, collaborating with authors and illustrators worldwide to create books and engaging with public figures to develop content and marketing initiatives.

Jamie Laliberte Whalen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Communication and Broadcast Journalism from the University of Rhode Island. They also attended Merrimack College, where they studied Communication Studies and Journalism, but did not obtain a degree.

Later on, Jamie pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Rhode Island.

In 2005, Jamie participated in a Summer Program in Communications at UCLA.

In terms of additional certifications, Jamie obtained a certification as the Top Customer of Ivanti from Ivanti in November 2021.
