Lester Memmott

Lester Memmott has over 30 years of work experience. Lester started their career in 1990 as a Delivery Operator at Brigham Young University. Lester then worked at Novell as a Support Engineer/Internship for six months before returning to Brigham Young University as a Crew Chief at BYU Media Services. In 1994, Lester joined IBM as a Project Lead and Software Developer at IBM EduQuest.

In 1995, they joined Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer for LANDesk Management Suite. Over the years, they took on various roles at Intel, including Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Senior Software Engineer/Architect/Team Lead in the Software & Solutions Group. Lester worked at Intel until 2009.

In 2009, they joined LANDESK Software as a Senior Software Engineer for LANDesk Management Suite. Lester then took on roles as Technical Team Lead and Principal Software Engineer for Discovery Services. From 2016 to 2017, Lester worked as a Team Lead and Principal Software Engineer for Discovery Services at LANDESK Software.

Since 2017, Lester has been working at Ivanti. Lester started as a Technical Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer for Discovery Services. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Engineering Manager for Unified Endpoint Management. Currently, Lester holds the position of Director of Engineering for Unified Endpoint Management at Ivanti.

Lester Memmott holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which they obtained from Brigham Young University between 1994 and 1996. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution between 1990 and 1994. Additionally, Lester has acquired the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in December 2021.
