Melissa Schaaf

Melissa Schaaf, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melissa currently works as a Sr. Growth Marketing Manager for Ivanti. Prior to this, they held the role of Quizmaster at Geeks Who Drink.

In their previous positions, Melissa worked as a Sr. Manager of Partner Marketing at Quantum Metric, a Senior Marketing Manager at Cherwell Software, and held multiple roles at SambaSafety including Demand Generation Manager, Marketing Manager, and Partner Marketing Strategist.

Melissa has also served on the Board of Directors for AMA Colorado, holding the positions of Senior Director of Community and Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Additionally, Melissa worked as a Marketing and Digital Manager at Camber Outdoors, a Marketing Specialist at Snell & Wilmer, and an Assistant Director of Marketing Communications at The Iliff School of Theology.

Their work experience also includes an Editorial Internship at BizWest Media LLC, where they received the Top of the Rockies award from SPJ Colorado Pro for their outstanding reporting on the 2013 September flood.

Prior to that, they completed a certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Front Range Community College. Melissa also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Colorado State University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "Leading a Marketing Team" from LinkedIn in November 2022.
