Elena Alventosa de Lara

Elena Alventosa de Lara is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in wastewater treatment, currently working at IVAR IKS since September 2015, where responsibilities include optimizing treatment processes and managing chemical laboratories. Prior to this role, Elena served as an intern engineer, contributing to the operation and optimization of wastewater treatment plants. Academic experience includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València, where Elena also held positions as a technical researcher and assistant lecturer in various engineering courses. Elena also held teaching roles at Institut français and completed research assistant positions at Lappeenranta University of Technology and Politecnico di Milano, focusing on industrial wastewater treatment and environmental technologies.
