Ingo Orend

Ingo Orend currently serves as the Head of Quality at Iveco Group, responsible for end-to-end quality management and the development of company-wide quality strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Orend has extensive experience in quality management and engineering, having previously held positions at Tesla as Manager of Quality Engineering and Associate Manager of Quality General Assembly, where leadership of a team was pivotal during the ramp-up of the GIGA Berlin Model Y. Prior roles include work at Mercedes-Benz Vans as Expatriate Quality Engineering, focusing on cross-functional root cause analysis, and at Daimler AG, with a diverse background ranging from project leadership in quality management to technical planning and powertrain testing. Orend holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen and has completed technical education in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology.
