Ganeswara Rao Musada

Ganeswara Rao Musada, PhD, currently holds the position of Senior Research Scientist at Astellas Pharma since April 2023. Prior to this, Ganeswara served as a Senior Research Associate at Spark Therapeutics, where involvement in gene therapy focused on developing methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Earlier experience includes a significant role as an Assistant Scientist at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, where independent ophthalmic research projects were conducted and mentorship of graduate students was provided. Ganeswara's academic background includes a PhD from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, where research focused on genetic screening in ophthalmic conditions, complemented by M.Tech and M.Sc degrees in Medical Biotechnology and Microbiology, respectively.
