Matthew Lynch

Matthew Lynch is an experienced professional in sustainable development and environmental management with a strong background in academia and industry. Currently serving as the Associate Director at the Ivey Business School's Centre for Building Sustainable Value, Matthew leads initiatives focused on catalyzing Canada's transition to sustainability through research and partnerships. Previous roles include Vice President at the World Council on City Data, Director at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and Programme Manager at Engineers Against Poverty. Matthew's career also encompasses various engineering and management positions in environmental roles, complemented by robust educational credentials including an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from UNSW.
