Seth Randell

Seth Randell has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 20 years. Seth began their career in 1999 at EarthLink Business, where they held positions in vendor relations and executive relations administration. Seth then transitioned into network operations, where they were responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting EarthLink's dialup, DSL, and VoIP products.

In 2011, Seth joined the data center team at EarthLink and took on the role of a data center technician. Here, they were tasked with the physical installation and decommissioning of cabling and data center equipment. Seth also monitored HVAC systems and telecommunications hardware.

In 2013, Seth became a senior system administrator at EarthLink. Seth gained experience in installing, configuring, and administering VMware vSphere and managing cluster resources. Seth later became a data center tech III and developed a process to certify hardware to ensure smooth installation and implemented a lab environment for quick RHEL 5 installation.

In 2015, Seth joined Cirracore - Enterprise Cloud as a senior cloud engineer, where they managed and monitored multiple vCloud environments. Seth also installed, configured, and managed Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop deployments for large and small user bases.

Seth then moved to Green House Data in 2017 as a cloud services senior engineer. Seth continued working with cloud technologies and provided expertise in implementing and maintaining cloud services.

Most recently, Seth has been with iVision since 2019. Seth initially joined as a senior cloud engineer and eventually took on the role of team lead for iVision Cloud in February 2021.

Seth Randell's education history begins in 1998 when they attended CEI for a period of two years, focusing on IT studies. In 2013, they participated in a Certification Program at Global Knowledge, specializing in VMware vSphere installation, configuration, and management. In 2019, they pursued a Professional Certification in Full Stack Software Development at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Seth has obtained various certifications in the field, including VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Design 2020, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020, and VCP 5 from VMware, in the years 2020 and 2013 respectively.
