Maria Sandstedt

Maria Sandstedt currently serves as General Counsel at IVL since May 2025 and holds a position as a Board Member at Elevated Launch since July 2022. Maria also served on the board of NILU Klimat- och Miljöinstitutet AB from December 2023 to May 2025. Prior to these roles, Maria was a Senior Legal Counsel and Partner at LegalWorks Nordic and a Senior Lawyer at QONTENTA AB, both from May 2021 to April 2025, focusing on business and corporate law as well as intellectual property. Maria's extensive experience in legal counsel includes roles such as Head of Legal at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and SP, Technical Research Institute of Sweden, as well as Head of Legal and Trademark Department at Zacco Sweden AB. Maria began their career as an Examiner at the Swedish Patent Office. Educational qualifications include a Master in European Law from Lund University and a law degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Gothenburg.
