Peter Fuhrmann

Peter Fuhrmann's work experience includes various roles in software development, product management, and innovation. Peter is currently working as a Software Development Manager at IVU Traffic Technologies since November 2021. Previously, they worked at Signify from April 2018 to August 2021, where they held the position of Product Manager Innovation / Principal Scientist. Peter'sresponsibilities included developing and validating new value propositions in customer pilots, road-mapping IoT applications in the office segment, and managing sensor-based applications. Prior to that, Peter worked at Philips Lighting as a Business Architect Innovation / Principal Scientist from January 2011 to March 2018, where they contributed to research projects related to lighting controls, power optimization, and energy monitoring in buildings. Peter also had a role as a Principal Scientist at Philips Research Labs from October 1998 to December 2010, where they managed research projects, coordinated innovation topics, and led the competence cluster within corporate research. Peter began their career as an LSI Design Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric from November 1995 to September 1998.

Peter Fuhrmann attended Leibniz Universität Hannover from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. In addition to their degree, they also have several certifications. These include the Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager certification obtained from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2018, the Chief Service Manager certification obtained from RWTH International Academy in May 2017, and the International Diploma in Business Analysis obtained from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in April 2015.
