Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith has over two decades of experience in the fields of communications engineering and firefighting. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Engineer and IT Director at Ivy Tech Community College since April 2011, Daniel has previously held positions at Batesville Fire and Rescue from September 2017 to August 2020 as Firefighter I/II - NREMTA, and at SUNMAN RURAL FIRE DEPARTMENT INC from October 2004 to October 2017 as Firefighter I/II, NREMT-A, and Communications Officer. Additionally, Daniel contributed to the Sunman Area Life Squad, Inc as an NREMT-A from 2006 to 2016, and worked as a Network Security Specialist at Enhanced Telecommunications Corporation from 2003 until April 2011.
