Dr. David G. Rettig

Dr. David G. Rettig is an accomplished IT executive and educator with extensive experience in digital transformation, leadership development, and operational excellence. As the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Synoptus since October 2019, Dr. Rettig has driven significant company growth and oversees various crucial business functions. In addition to this role, Dr. Rettig serves as the Program Chair and Professor at Ivy Tech Community College, where recognition includes the 2022 Outstanding Online Teaching Practice award. Previous positions include Director of NBG Group Services IT at Nucor Corporation and Director of Information Technology at The Institute for Study Abroad, where extensive technology transformations were implemented. Dr. Rettig holds a Doctor of Business Administration, multiple master's degrees, and a bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
