Asst Vice President And Professor - Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science at Ivy Tech Community College

Glen Roberson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Glen started their career in 1987 as an Engineering Estimator and Tool Designer at US Engineering, where they worked until 1990. From 1991 to 2020, they also owned investment properties and worked as an Electrical specialist, personally maintaining and managing various aspects of building construction. In 1995, they joined Ivy Tech Community College as an Adjunct Faculty and eventually took on roles such as Automotive Technology and Design Technology Program Chair, Dean of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science, and currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Professor for Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science. In their current position, they are responsible for strategic planning, recruitment and marketing strategies, curriculum development, and representing the College in various external agencies and committees.

Glen Roberson has a Master of Science degree in Education from Purdue University, which was obtained in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University in 1991. Glen also holds an Associate of Science degree in Manufacturing Design and Computer Integrated Manufacturing Technology from Ball State University, which was obtained in 1987. In addition to their formal education, Glen has obtained various certifications, including OSHA Certified from OSHA 10 Hour Training in 2019, Quality Matters from QM Quality Matters in 2019, and Higher Learning Commission Evaluator from Higher Learning Commission in 2017, among others. Glen is also a Full Professor - F5 Rank at Ivy Tech Community College.
