Greg Golightly has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Greg began their career in 1997 as an IT Manager at American Document Management, where they created an infrastructure focused on security, capacity, and reliability. Greg then worked as a Systems Administrator at the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies in 1998.

In 1999, Greg became the Lead Systems Engineer at Cybertek/Mynd, where they managed the company's information technology in a fast-paced software development environment. Greg led a team responsible for maintaining around 70 servers and supporting 70 developers.

From 2000 to 2003, Greg worked at Onex Consulting as a Sr. Consultant, taking on various roles such as development of infrastructure, platform and security-based services, project management, and executive level IT consulting. Greg also played a key role in business development activities.

Greg worked at Apparatus in 2011 as an Active Directory Engineer, providing support for a large global organization. Greg also served as an Infrastructure Specialist. Greg then moved to Riverview Hospital as a Sr. Systems Engineer in 2012, where they took on the role of Lead Architect for networking systems.

Currently, Greg is employed at Ivy Tech Community College as a Sr. Network Engineer and Network Team Lead. Their responsibilities include overseeing LAN/WAN, data center, and wireless functionalities. Greg has led multiple projects involving network refresh, migration to new equipment, and significant improvements in network monitoring.

Greg Golightly received their BA in English Literature from Indiana University Bloomington in 1995. Greg then went on to obtain their MS degree in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University in 1996.
