Latonya Armstrong

LaTonya Armstrong currently serves as Acting Chancellor at Ivy Tech Community College since March 2024, previously holding the positions of Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Applied Science from 2021 to 2024. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at City Colleges of Chicago-Olive-Harvey College from 2015 to 2021, where responsibilities spanned from Associate Dean to Dean of Career Programs & Continuing Education. LaTonya also held the position of Assistant Dean at DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management International, managing faculty and academic policies from 2012 to 2014. Early career highlights include serving as Director of Academic Programs at Northwestern College, multiple adjunct instructor roles across various institutions, and leadership positions at Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. LaTonya holds an MBA from Lincoln University in Missouri and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
