Don Freeman

Don Freeman has worked for several companies since 1988. Don started their career at AT&T Bell Laboratory as a Proposal Developer for the Surveillance Sonar System Development. In 1990, they began working for Northrop Grumman Corporation as a System Engineer for the UAE Air Defense System Development, Engineering Manager for the AWACS Radar System Development, Process Improvement for the F-22 Radar System Development, and Proposal Development for the AN/AQQ-89I Sonar System Development. In 1995, they moved to Cubic as a Process Improvement for the Air Combat Training System Development. Don then returned to Northrop Grumman Corporation in 1996 as a Proposal Center Consultant, Proposal Manager for the Surface Electronic Warfare System, Proposal Manager for the Mobile Ground Based Radar System, and Process Improvement for the Proposal Process Improvement. In 2009, they started working for Zimmerman Associates, Inc. as a Process Improvement and Management Consultant. Finally, in 2016, they began working for Ivyhill Technologies as the Vice President Quality Management, providing guidance and/or direct support for companies as they prepared for their CMMI assessment.

Don Freeman received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Florida in 1960. Don then went on to receive their Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The George Washington University in 1964.
