Houston Sudekum has a diverse professional background in environmental studies and resource management, currently serving as an Associate at IWC (International Woodland Company) since February 2024. Previous experience includes a Senior Associate role at Advantage Capital, along with positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia and Consultant for the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Houston has also held research positions at the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, and has practical experience as a River Guide and Ski Technician. Academically, Houston holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Tulane University, complemented by additional training from NOLS and education at John Burroughs School.
