Ricardo Figueira

Ricardo Figueira has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Ricardo is currently working as the Head of IT SecOps at IWG plc since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Infrastructure at Banco Primus from 2018 to 2022. Before that, they worked at Viagens Abreu, S.A. as an IT Project Manager Coordinator from 2012 to 2018, where they were responsible for software implementation, project management, teams coordination, negotiation and implementation of 3rd party software and solutions, and administration of physical and virtual servers. Ricardo started their career at Avis, where they served as an IT System Administrator from 2009 to 2012, managing server installation and administration, backups, firewall administration, and Active Directory administration.

Ricardo Figueira completed a postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity at Universidade Europeia in 2019-2020. In 2017, they studied Data Processing in the field of Business Information Systems at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In 2020, they received advanced training in ISO_27001 Information Security Management at Gradual Expand.
