Joe McAlister

Joe McAlister is a Senior Fullstack Engineer at iwoca since September 2022, focusing on the development of iwocaPay. As the CTO and Lead Artist at Fast Familiar since March 2017, Joe contributes to the creation of participatory, playful, and political artworks, often utilizing digital technology. Joe also has teaching experience, having served as a Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London from September 2020 to January 2023 and as an Enhanced Online Tutor for the University of London from March 2019 to February 2020, where the focus was on developing the online BSc Computer Science degree. Additionally, Joe was an Associate Lecturer and Module Leader for the MA/MFA Computational Art degree at Goldsmiths from September 2019 to January 2020. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts Computing from Goldsmiths, University of London, obtained between 2015 and 2018.
