Joan Schein

Joan Schein, Ph.D, currently serves as Key Account Manager at iXCells Biotechnologies, a position held since October 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Abcam as Account Manager for California Biotech and FirePlex Sales Specialist from March 2021 to October 2024, and Product Manager at Tecan from June 2019 to February 2021. Joan Schein also worked as Scientific Manager for Pharma Assay Service at Advanced Cell Diagnostics from January 2017 to May 2019, and held positions as Manager of Marketing and Tech Support and Application Scientist at Biochain Institute, Inc from March 2014 to January 2017. Academic contributions include serving as Associate Professor at West Valley - Mission Community College District from January 2009 to May 2014, as well as as Application Scientist at Molecular Devices in 2006-2007 and Scientist at SanBio, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Joan Schein began a postdoctoral fellowship at Roche from 2001 to 2004 after obtaining a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Tufts University School of Medicine. Undergraduate studies were completed at Oberlin College.
