Xinyu Kong has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peking University. Currently, Xinyu serves as a Senior Scientist II and Group Lead of Cell Engineering at iXCells Biotechnologies. Prior to this, Xinyu had a range of experiences including being a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Peking University. In these roles, Xinyu conducted research involving protein interactions and studied cadherin-mediated ligand-specific mechanotransduction signaling mechanisms.
