John Green

John Green has over 20 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory affairs within the medical device industry. John most recently held the position of Senior Vice President Quality, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at IXICO from December 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President Quality, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at the same company from May 2018 to November 2018. Before joining IXICO, John was the Managing Director of Green Quality Services Limited starting from January 2016. From January 2012 to December 2015, they served as the Director, QA & RA at Thermo Fisher Scientific, leading an international team responsible for quality assurance and regulatory compliance. From February 2004 to December 2011, John worked at Abbott Diabetes Care, firstly as a Quality Assurance Manager and later as an Implementation Manager, where they oversaw all areas of quality assurance and regulatory affairs. John also managed a large team and led a site move and departmental reorganization project. Prior to Abbott, John served as the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager at Advanced Medical Solutions from April 2001 to February 2004, and as QA Manager / RA Manager at Johnson & Johnson from September 1991 to April 2001. In these roles, they had responsibilities including regulatory affairs, project management, new product development, validation, and supplier quality. John has a wealth of experience in various areas of quality and compliance, particularly in the medical device industry.

John Green completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University from 1987 to 1991. John then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from the University of Bradford from 1994 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a certification in the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in April 2020.
