Amilia Yun

Amilia Yun has a diverse work experience. Amilia started their career in 2019 as a student teacher at Ephesus Elementary School, where they gained experience designing and implementing flexible lesson plans for a 4th-grade general education classroom. In 2019, they also worked as a student teacher at Bray School Project N.S, where they assisted teachers in primary grade levels and conducted one-on-one instruction for students with various abilities. Amilia joined Rasa Malaysia Restaurant in 2015 as a Hostess Server and worked there until 2022. In 2020, they became an Elementary School Teacher at Holt Elementary School, where they worked until 2022. Currently, they are employed at IXL Learning, initially joining as an IXL Teacher Membership Specialist and later transitioning to the role of IXL Learning and Vocabulary.com Teacher Membership Specialist.

Amilia Yun pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Appalachian State University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Following this, from 2017 to 2020, they continued their education at the same institution. During this time, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Special Education and Teaching as well as a Master of Arts degree in Reading Teacher Education. These degrees reflect their academic focus and specialization in these respective fields. Additionally, in July 2022, Amilia obtained a certification in the Learn HTML Course from Codecademy.
