Chun-Yeh Chen has a diverse work experience encompassing various roles and responsibilities. In 2008, they started their career as a Software Engineer at CyberLink, where they designed and created a web application for electronic human resource management systems. Chun-Yeh also developed a website called DirectorZone for video and photo sharing.

In 2011, Chun-Yeh transitioned to Fubon Financial Holdings as a Marketing Specialist. Chun-Yeh excelled in analyzing customer financial environments and aligning solutions for insurance, mortgages, securities, and credit cards. Chun-Yeh achieved the premium requirement of Million Dollar Round Table and became a member in 2013.

In 2013, Chun-Yeh joined Academia Sinica, Taiwan as a Research Assistant. Chun-Yeh contributed to research projects until 2014.

In 2015, Chun-Yeh joined Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI) as a Research Assistant. Chun-Yeh focused on improving the usage of data processing platform Apache Flink and performed performance measurements under various circumstances.

In 2016, Chun-Yeh moved on to IXL Learning, where they started as a Software Engineer and eventually progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer. At IXL Learning, their responsibilities included designing solutions for the internationalization of products using frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, YUI, CSS, and SASS, as well as backend technologies like Java, Hibernate, Oracle, and Postgres. Chun-Yeh also supported the expansion of corporate products to non-English speaking customers.

Throughout their career, Chun-Yeh has consistently exhibited technical expertise and contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked for.

Chun-Yeh Chen has an extensive education history in the field of Computer Science. From 2002 to 2006, Chen attended National Tsing Hua University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Chen then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it from 2006 to 2008.

Continuing their academic journey, Chun-Yeh Chen enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they earned another Master of Science (M.S.) degree, specializing in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Chun-Yeh Chen pursued professional certification. In February 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
