Colin Gaw

Colin Gaw has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the education field. Colin is currently working at IXL Learning as a Social Studies Curriculum Developer. Prior to their current role, Colin was employed at Chicago Public Schools for almost a decade. Colin held the positions of Social Studies Department Chair and Social Studies Teacher during their time there. Colin also worked at Stanford University as part of the Hollyhock Fellowship Program from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they were with AUSL (Academy for Urban School Leadership), where they served as a Secondary Social Studies Urban Teacher Resident and a Pull-Out Math Instructor for grades 3-5. Colin began their career in education as a City Year Corps Member.

Colin Gaw earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago, from the years 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Teaching from National Louis University, from 2012 to 2013.
