Emma Xie

Emma Xie has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and industries. Emma is currently working at IXL Learning as an Associate Product Manager II since July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Associate Product Manager at the same company from June 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining IXL Learning, Emma worked at Cognite AS as a Product Owner from January 2019 to August 2019. Emma also worked as a Software Engineer at the University of Waterloo from January 2018 to April 2018.

Emma's previous experiences include working as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Evertz from May 2017 to August 2017 and as a Rapid Prototype Developer at Canon Innovation Lab from September 2016 to December 2016. Emma also worked as an Associate Innovation Specialist at Scotiabank from January 2016 to April 2016.

Overall, Emma has gained valuable skills and knowledge in product management, software engineering, and innovation throughout their professional journey.

Emma Xie attended Don Mills Collegiate Institute from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained an OSSD. From 2015 to 2020, they studied at the University of Waterloo and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering. In 2018, Emma also briefly studied at Lund University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
