Sherry Solden

Sherry Solden has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sherry is currently working at IXL Learning as a Senior Development Manager since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bluescape.com from 2015 to 2022, where they held the positions of Senior Software Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer.

Before joining Bluescape.com, Sherry worked at Cadence Design Systems for a significant part of their career. Sherry held multiple roles at Cadence, including Engineering Group Director for C-to-Silicon, GUI Architect for C-to-Silicon, GUI Architect for Incubator Project Catena, and Chief Software Architect and Founder for Incubator Project Sequoia. Sherry also served as a Software Architect for the SystemC Simulation Group and an Architect for the Product Architect VCC (Virtual Component Co-Design). Throughout their time at Cadence, Sherry demonstrated excellent leadership skills, managing teams, and delivering quality releases on time.

Prior to their tenure at Cadence, Sherry worked at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer in the Corporate CAD department. Sherry was responsible for the development of SEES (Schematic Entry and Edit System) and implemented advanced netlisting services and inter-process communication.

Overall, Sherry Solden possesses a wide range of experience in roles such as development management, software engineering, architecture, and leadership in the semiconductor and education technology industries.

Sherry Solden completed their high school education at Ocean Township High School in Ocean, NJ from 1982 to 1986. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from 1982 to 1986.
