Shrivar Ramlakan

Shrivar Ramlakan has a diverse and impressive work experience in the field of software engineering. Shrivar started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Amazon in 2016. At Amazon, they worked as a Software Engineer from August 2017 to March 2021, where they maintained and developed features for Amazon's internal Continuous Delivery system and other developer tools. Shrivar gained expertise in backend Java RESTful API development and worked with various AWS services. Shrivar also had experience in devops, building infrastructure and handling on-call responsibilities.

After their time at Amazon, Shrivar joined IXL Learning in April 2021 as a Software Engineer. Shrivar worked on application development for IXL.com and stayed with the company until August 2022.

Following their role at IXL Learning, Shrivar joined Wyzant.com as a Senior Software Engineer. Shrivar worked on a microservice architecture using languages such as C#, Go, Ruby, and Python. Shrivar showed a keen interest in devops and infrastructure, gaining familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP. Their time at Wyzant.com lasted from August 2022 to January 2023.

Currently, Shrivar Ramlakan is employed at IXL Learning again, but this time as a Senior Software Engineer/Manager starting from May 2023.

From 2013 to 2017, Shrivar Ramlakan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
