Steve Babcock

Steve Babcock has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Steve started their career at Real Time Enterprises as a Systems Environment Specialist from June 1996 to July 1998. Following that, Steve joined Xerox in November 1998 and held various roles, including Software Engineer and Software Project Manager. Steve worked there for over 13 years, managing a team of software engineers and developing projects using various software packages and languages.

In 2011, Steve transitioned to HCL Technologies, where they worked as a Senior Technical Lead and Software Engineer from July 2011 to February 2012. Steve then moved on to WebAssign, where they took up multiple roles such as Product Owner, Manager of Product Owners, Director of Product Development, and Director of Application Development from 2012 to 2016. In these positions, they oversaw software engineering teams, resource allocation, project status reporting, and delivery process optimization.

In 2016, Steve joined SciQuest as a Product Development Manager for a brief period of 10 months. From there, they moved to IXL Learning, where they held several roles such as Senior Engineering Manager, Group Manager, Director of Engineering, and currently serves as the Senior Director of Engineering. At IXL Learning, Steve oversees multiple software engineering teams for platforms like IXL.com, ABCya, Education.com, Wyzant, and Rosetta Stone.
