Francisco Méndez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Francisco began their career as an Administrative officer at El Corte Inglés in 2007.

In 2011, Méndez worked as a Full-stack web developer before taking on an internship role as an Electrical engineer at Fundación Desarrollo Sostenible in 2015. During this time, they developed custom plugins for WordPress and worked on feasibility studies for photovoltaic installations.

From 2016 to 2017, they interned as an Electrical engineer at PRAMAC, where they assisted with product customization and quality control.

In 2017, Méndez joined IDEA INGENIERÍA as a Full-stack web developer and IoT responsible, focusing on implementing version control systems and agile development methodologies.

Francisco then worked at Minsait as a Full-stack platform web developer from 2019 to 2020, where they developed new features and integrated various SQL and NoSQL persistence services.

In 2020, Méndez took on the role of Digital transformation project manager and Solutions architect and lead developer at IDEA INGENIERÍA. Francisco implemented methodologies and patterns to optimize the team's development time and quality.

Since 2018, they have also been a Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, teaching IoT-related subjects in the Master's program in Industry 4.0.

Currently, Méndez is working as a Tech lead at Ixorigue, where their focus is on optimizing costs and the quality of the solution. Francisco has led and implemented various functionalities, including redesigning the complete solution architecture.

Francisco Méndez has a diverse educational background. Francisco started their education journey in 2007 at the Universidad Politénica de Cartagena, where they pursued a degree in Architectural Technologist. Francisco completed this degree in 2011.

In 2010, Francisco Méndez also began studying at the Universidad Politénica de Cartagena for a Degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Ingeniería Eléctrica. Francisco completed this degree in 2016.

Following their interest in industrial engineering, Francisco Méndez attended Universitat Jaume I in 2016 and 2017, where they pursued an Expert in Control Systems, Automation, and Monitoring in Industrial Environments. This program focused on industrial automation and control.

In 2020 and 2021, Francisco Méndez attended MBIT School to obtain the Deep Learning Expert certification, specializing in Artificial Intelligence. This certification enhanced their knowledge and expertise in this emerging field.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Francisco Méndez is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Automation and Electronics at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. This program is ongoing, with an expected completion year of 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Francisco Méndez has also obtained additional certifications. In 2019, they completed the "OpenShift for the Absolute Beginners - Hands-on" course at Udemy. In 2018, they obtained the Scrum Manager certification from Scrum Manager, further demonstrating their commitment to professional development.
