Paul Heaton

Paul Heaton has over fifteen years of experience in law enforcement and the public safety field. Paul worked as a Police Officer for the City of Atlanta from June 2003 to June 2006 and then joined the City of Sandy Springs, Ga as a Police Officer from June 2006 to January 2011. Paul then transitioned into a role as a Senior Consultant at IXP Corporation in January 2011. In this position, they coordinated and managed the implementation of law enforcement software technology and worked with customers to collect and document technology and infrastructure for public safety installations. Paul eventually became the Director of Managed Service - Technology at IXP Corporation in October 2017, where they assessed technology, recommended solutions, and developed technical plans and roadmaps for law enforcement technology. Their focus has been on establishing sustainable systems with an emphasis on resiliency and durability.

Paul Heaton attended The University of Toledo from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement.
