Peggy Sammon

Peggy L. Sammon currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at GeneCapture, Inc., where a team of scientists and engineers has successfully developed two platform technologies for rapid diagnostics and antibiotic susceptibility testing, securing eight government contracts and attracting private investment. Peggy L. Sammon is also a Board Director and Past President of BIO Alabama, which represents the life sciences and biotech sectors, and co-founded Rocket City Civil Rights. Additional roles include Board Director at iXpressGenes, Inc., Chair Emeritus of the Board of Directors at Village of Promise, and Board Director at Magna Vista Group. Prior positions include VP of Strategy at Time Domain Corporation and VP of Marketing & Sales at ADS Environmental Services. Peggy L. Sammon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University.
