Martine Berk-de Groot

Martine Berk-de Groot is an experienced language professional with a diverse background in translation, project management, and education. Currently serving as a Subtitler/Editor at Iyuno since May 2023, Martine has also been working as a freelance (subtitle) translator since March 2022, specializing in translating English subtitles into Dutch for various American TV series. With a long-standing role as Project Manager at Betula Residence since July 1998, Martine also operates as a sworn translator and interpreter for English-Dutch since 1998. Additional roles include hosting at Keukenhof, serving as a museum guard at GEM Fotomuseum, and tutoring Dutch through conversational methods. Past experience includes a relocation consultancy position in Kuala Lumpur and project secretary roles at Lyondell Chemie Nederland, B.V. Martine's educational background includes a degree in Translating/Interpreting from Hogeschool West Nederland and studies at Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag.
