Anoop Pal, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various scientific and leadership roles. Anoop started their career at the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology as a Junior Research Fellow, where they conducted cloning, expression, and purification of proteins. Anoop then worked as a Research Assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, focusing on the development of biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles for drug delivery and bio-imaging applications.
After that, Dr. Pal became a Visiting Student at Harvard School of Public Health, where they worked on developing dispersion and dosing methods for toxicity assessment of engineered nano-materials. Anoop also utilized dose models for nanomaterial deposited dose predictions. Anoop then continued their research at UMass Lowell as a Graduate Research Assistant, specializing in the toxicity assessment and characterization of nanomaterials.
Dr. Pal further enhanced their skills and expertise as a Research Fellow at Harvard School of Public Health, where they worked on projects related to nanoparticle deposition, clearance, and computational dose models for inhalation exposure. Anoop also developed methodologies for life cycle assessment of nano-enabled products and correlated in-vitro and in-vivo toxicological outcomes.
From 2014 onwards, Dr. Pal has held numerous roles at Izon Science, including Application Scientist, Chief Scientist - Americas, Chief Operating Officer - Americas, and General Manager - Americas. In these roles, they played a crucial part in designing and optimizing protocols for the purification and characterization of Extracellular Vesicles. Anoop also led the regional sales and technical support team and played an instrumental role in implementing global business development strategies.
