Roth Michaels

Roth Michaels has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. In 2007, they worked as an Audio Engineer, specializing in recording, post-production, and live sound reinforcement. From 2008 to 2014, Michaels worked as an Independent Software Developer and Tutor, collaborating with artists and students in Boston and New York on software development projects and tutoring them in digital music software and programming. In 2010, they served as the Director of New Media for ecce, a contemporary music ensemble, where they designed alternative concert experiences and provided technical support. Michaels also worked as a Linux Systems Admin at Dartmouth Digital Musics Studio, where they set up and maintained a new server and implemented improved security protocols. Roth was a contracted Software Developer at Coloredo, developing a computer performance instrument and intonation/tuning research tool. Additionally, Michaels worked as a Graduate Level Lecturer at Brandeis University, designing a curriculum for a Graduate Seminar in Electroacoustic Music Composition. In 2014, they joined SwiftMobile as a Mobile App and SDK Developer, contributing to the development of the company's mobile event app platform. Most recently, Michaels has been employed at iZotope, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Principal Software Engineer.

Roth Michaels completed their education at several institutions. Roth attended Dartmouth College from 2009 to 2010, where they studied Digital Musics. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Brandeis University, graduating between the years 2003 and 2007. Before entering higher education, Roth Michaels attended Camden Hills Regional Highschool, although no specific dates or degrees were provided for this particular educational experience.
