Angel Barrios

Angel Barrios has a diverse work experience in the early education field. From 2008 onwards, they worked as the Executive Program Director at Izzi Early Education (formerly IHSD Inc.). Prior to this role, they served as an Associate Director at the same company from 2006 to 2008. Before joining Izzi Early Education, Angel worked as the Family Support Manager at the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County, Inc. from January 2003 to September 2006. Their early career also includes a role as the Center Program Manager at Wu Yee Children's Services from January 2001 to December 2002.

Angel Barrios holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Development from Boston College, obtained between 1992 and 1996. Angel also obtained two Master's Degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University, in Education and Psychological Counseling, both completed in 1998. Angel completed high school at The Pingry School. Additionally, Angel has certifications in Head Start Management obtained in 2014 through the UCLA Anderson School of Management and Early Childhood Education through the State of Massachusetts.
