Scott K. Harris

Scott K. Harris has extensive experience in education and sports coaching, currently serving as a Sports Referee for the Texas Association of Sports Officials, USA Water Polo, and the Alamo Area Aquatic Association since February 2021. Harris has been a dedicated teacher at Reagan High School since August 2001, instructing Advanced Placement courses and coaching the swim team, leading the team to multiple district and regional championships. Additionally, Harris has held consulting roles with the Free To Choose Network and izzit.org since 2001, focusing on educational media and critical thinking resources. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History/Psychology from Texas State University, a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University, and a brief course in Ethics, Economy & Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona. Prior teaching experience includes a position at Judson High School, where Harris also built and developed the swimming and water polo programs.
