Principal Systems Engineer at J&P Technologies

Gabriel Hernandez has worked in various roles since 2003. In 2011, they began working as a Principal Systems Engineer for J&P Technologies, where they applied Systems Engineering techniques in the assessment of complex projects utilizing Computer Based Control Systems (CBCS) integration in the development of autonomous spacecraft and payloads. Gabriel also provided on-going support for CBCS development and updates utilized on the International Space Station. In 2008, they worked as a Software Safety Engineer I for MTA, Inc. From 2006-2008, they worked as a Quality Assurance Management Specialist for SAP - TomorrowNow, where they performed Acceptance Tests on regulatory tax updates and any individual client fixes. Gabriel also used Newmerix and Automate!Test to record and automate test processes for all PeopleSoft 8.x releases. From 2003-2006, they worked at Texas A&M University as an Intern and College Bookstore Employee. As an Intern, they researched the functionality of the Pinnacle Telecommunications Management/Billing System and developed a training manual for departmental use. As a College Bookstore Employee, they sold class books, promoted the store during special events, assisted in the electronics and school supplies section, and sold merchandise on football game-day. Gabriel was later promoted to manage the sale of school merchandise for all sporting events and to Customer Service Manager, where they resolved customer concerns and managed all store registers.

Gabriel Hernandez attended Texas A&M University from 2002 to 2006, graduating with a degree in Technology Management. During their time there, they studied Networks, HR, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Finance, Management, and Distance Ed. Gabriel also attended San Jacinto College, though no degree or field of study was specified.
